We went north: Summer vacation, part II

We've been home for a week now, but still relishing the time we had away.
It wasnt anything spectacular that made our vacation lovely....it was time together,
time to slow down, time with creation. It was the small seemingly insignificant moments
that have made our memories so sweet.
There were cozy moments of quiet....

And curious moments of discovery

There were hours spent lazily on the porch

And plenty of games played at the kitchen table

We hiked.....

Explored....

And celebrated July birthdays together.

And almost every day, enjoyed the refreshing shores of Lake Michigan....

We've returned to a faster pace, agendas, and the many commitments of the life we love.
But we are rested, rejuvenated, an thankful for beautiful memories made!

I thought your pictures looked like Lake Michigan. That's where we're vacationing right now. Isn't the beautiful creation and lovely lazy days amazing? We love it too!
