Jonas made his theatrical debut yesterday in his preschool Christmas pagent. It was adorable. He's been practicing the songs for weeks, complete with motions. I predicted that he would freeze up in front of the large crowd (like his mother), but once again, my little man surprised me. He was awesome- singing and doing the motions for songs telling the christmas story but set to common children songs like:
"This is the way the shepards walk, sheperds walk, shepards walk. This is the way the sheperds walk so early in the morning.
This is the way the angels sing.........."
Our favorite was We wish you a merry Christmas, where he swings his bent arm in front of his body with extreme gusto.
When asked if he was nervous up there, he said, "yeah, but I liked it".
Who would have guessed.

Who would have guessed???? Have you met yourself? You're a natural story-telling, dramatist. That boy does not surprise me at all.
