(Sorry for the blurry picture...something is wrong with my camera!)
Our first year on Lesley St (four years ago) we had some friends over for Mexican food on Christmas Eve, a tradition that has stuck. Once again this year, good friends gathered round our table to share in our little fiesta. We ate our full of enchiladas, Mexican rice, chips and guacamole, and topped the meal with John Beeler's now famous Persimmon Flan with curry whipped cream...yum! (Look for the recipes on my food blog soon...)
Afterward we headed over to Redeemer for the Christmas Eve service which was beautiful and worshipful. Not to mention it was the first year in recent history that we actually took part in most of the service, though I did spend much of it bouncing Elliott in my arms in the back. Jonas held his own candle this year, which thrilled him.
