Henna

Here's a link to the pictures of my belly getting all fancied up!
Shannon did a beautiful job and I was proud to be the first belly she has done!
The pictures are of the henna freshly applied. Its a paste that dries and hardens
and then flakes off. Then you are left with a soft clay-colored tint for 1-3 weeks!

Whats the point you ask?

Its fun, beautiful to look at, and the process was quite soothing! The clay smelled
of lavender and watching Shannon's process almost put me into a trance! Just another
way to celebrate something that doesnt last forever (thankfully!)...pregnancy.

I am so spoiled. I know that. Im giving thanks.....
