Shipshewana, IN

Yesterday I drove north for the day to Shipshewana, IN to spend it with my friend April and her mom. The kids spent the day with Grandma Rader, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had never been to Shipshewana before, but it was mostly what I imagined...one country craft store after another and LOTS of wooden Amish made furniture. It was a bit much. But April and I caught up on our lives, her mom got great new quilting fabric, and I even found a few gems amidst the paisley and florals at the fabric store. I also found a couple of cool wire baskets...

Perhaps some new curtains for Luci's room with the orange patterns....I think pillows or something with the others. Not sure, just liked them.
