I might have kept my son home from school today after he claimed to have a sore stomach, but before actually validating the claim.
I might have convinced his father he needed to stay home, just in case.

I might have let him play lego star wars on the computer and stay in his sweatpants.
And we might be eating buttery popcorn at 10am while listening to Christmas music and having "school" at the dining room table.
And my kids might be playing spys right now, with thoughts of tummy aches a distant thought.....
I might have been fooled. But I just dont care. Having #1 home on this rainy Monday is pretty darn fun:)
