Three and lovely

Our sweet girl turned three last week....our celebrating included...

Birthday breakfast.....

Extravagant gifts including an umbrella (which she calls a rainbow), sunglasses,
and a watch.

The baking of her carrot cake....and a bit of licking....


Her loving brother donating his decorating skills....


and celebrating with our community group with pizza, cake, and ice cream.

What a beautiful gift we have been given in this daughter. Her middle name of
Joy fits her well...she is such a joy to know! This year we have seen her grow from a toddler into a little girl and we've seen her gifts surface as well. She is a great encourager, always cheering on her brothers and friends saying, "Good job Jonas! or "You can do it!" And she nurtures those around her too, particularly her little brother, but also the dog, neighbors, friends, and baby dolls. Its so fun to see her person bloom....
