We've enjoyed the last few days with G&G Estle....AJ is in DC at a conference and we're having fun transforming our house while he's gone!
We started by putting the playroom back together, since the new ceiling is finished and painted (this was damaged by a water leak several weeks ago). After that we painted a small downstairs hallway. The dramatic change was in the dining room- from pale yellow to "mercer blue"- a chalky grey blue. I'll try to take a picture later, but its hard to capture the true color. AJ wont feel like he's in his own house when he gets home:)
Of course all of this has taken place during nap times, and in between entertaining the kids. Jonas is thrilled to have his grandparents here. He spent the entire first day showing off all of his "tricks," like spinning around, throwing his football up and then catching it, somersaults, throwing the frisbee, jumping over the ball...and the infamous full body slam onto grandpa.
Tomorrow we happy to get daddy home and sad to say good-bye to "grampie". Thankfully, we get another full week with "gramie". Im sure there will be more home transformations to come...keep you posted!
