What's in the bag this week

Yesterday our neighbor Pam dropped off some fresh produce, compliments of the Irvington CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Project we recently joined.(www.irvingtonagriculture.blogspot.com) Here's how it works. The farmer grows healthy organic food, we buy into a share, he brings it to the city, we eat great fresh food. Its too good to be true really.

So on Saturday, we made use of the CSA produce and the eggs from the brown family (www.brownfamilyfarm.com) and made gourmet omelettes. Chedder omelettes with taragon and grilled asparagus. So yummy. Thanks to farmers Craig and Levi!

There is nothing like seeing your toddler bite into asparagus and actually enjoy it!
